HiQ British Touring Car Championship

Rounds 13, 14 and 15 of the 2009 HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship were held at Croft Circuit in the North East of England on the 15 June 2009. It turned out to be a fantastic day for the Team RAC BMW 320si machines of Colin Turkington and Stephen Jelley who took first and second places respectively in rounds 13 and 14. The rain that had threatened all day arrived with avengence for round 15, and led to numerous safety car periods. However, it was Fabrizio Giovanardi that emerged victorious from James Thompson.
