The opening round of the 2009 Northern Sprint Championship saw 30 cars take to the track at Teesside Motorsport Complex on Friday 10th April. Despite a forecast of heavy rain, all of the competitive runs were completed in the dry, giving the cars a chance to stretch their legs around the tight and twisty circuit.
